Deposit checks1 with the snap of a picture using your Apple device (iPhone® or iPad®) or an AndroidTM supported smartphone using the Ivy Mobile Banking app. You can deposit up to $50,000 daily and a total of $100,000 in 30-days using this method.
- 1Within the Ivy Bank Mobile App, click Deposit Check
- 2Input the deposit amount and click Deposit
- 3Snap a picture of the front and back of the check, following the on-screen prompts. You must include your signature, your account number and the words “For Mobile Deposit Only at Ivy Bank” on your mobile deposit.

Make a Transfer2, 3
Easily move money from an external account you own into your Ivy Bank account within Online and Mobile Banking. You can transfer a maximum of $250,000 per transaction and up to $1,000,000 per month into your Ivy Bank account using this method3.
- 1From the Move Money tab in Online Banking, select eTransfer with my External Accounts
- 2Once on the Transfer Funds page, click Add a New Account (note: if you already established an external transfer account, simply select that account from the dropdown menu and complete all required fields to continue)
- 3Follow the prompts to input the required information for your external account and click Submit
- 4You will then receive an email with further instruction about verifying trial deposits. Follow those instructions (also outlined below) to complete the process.
Wire Funds4
We accept wire transfers from your domestic external accounts. You can wire up to a maximum balance of $1,000,000 from an external account you own into your Ivy Bank account.
- To initiate a wire transfer, you will need to provide your financial institution with the following:

- 3Your Ivy Bank account number
- 4Your name and address as shown on your Ivy Bank account
Instructions for verifying trial deposits:
- 1We will attempt to make trial deposits to your established account within the next two (2) business days. The amount will be less than $1.00. Please verify that the deposits were made into your external account by inquiring directly with your account provider. Deposits should show as being from 'TRIALCREDT'. (Note: The withdrawal amount will be equal to the amount of the deposits; this amount is NOT used to activate the account.)
- 2Log into Online Banking, go to Move Money, and select eTransfer with my External Accounts
- 3Click the Accounts tab on the top menu.
- 4Locate the account and click Verify
- 5Enter the correct trial deposit amount and click Verify
- 6If the deposit amounts you entered are the same as those we deposited into your account, then your account will be available for incoming funds transfers.
Write a Check5
We also offer you the option to deposit funds into your Ivy Bank account via mail deposit. Simply send your mailed check deposit to us at the address below and we will process the deposit for you. Endorse the check being sent through the mail with the words "For Deposit Only" and include your correct account number underneath to ensure the check is credited to the correct account.
